FINANCIAL LITERACY  AND MONEY SKILLS

The MONEY $TAR$  Series: Helping Students Learn To Be  Money $mart

Too many students are leaving school without even the basic concepts of how money works. Unfortunately, many will fall into the "cycle of poverty" unless they learn  certain money skills.

The Money $tar$  Series uses graphic story booklets/CD/DVDs/digital content to explain important financial concepts and money skills, while building up Reading Skills at the same time.

Why Use Graphic Stories To Teach Finance and Money Skills?

Kids need to learn basic money skills - but many are reluctant to read text-heavy brochures on the subject. Graphic stories are a user-friendly format. Kids like reading them. These materials help make learning important information easier and more memorable. Plus, kids pick up valuable reading and vocabulary skills at the same time.

The Money $tar$  are a group of talented teens that help students learn about valuable money skills that can impact their daily lives. These entertaining short adventure stories are ideal for classroom lessons or extra-curricular reading.

We believe that ALL kids want to learn about money and how it works. Learn Well materials make learning easier and more relevant.

A GREAT WAY TO PROMOTE YOUR BUSINESS  AND HELP YOUR COMMUNITY

ARE  YOU  INTERESTED  IN  SPONSORING  A  FINANCIAL  LITERACY  PROGRAM  IN  YOUR  AREA?

We can also create customized booklets on any topic for you.  We can start from the ground up, or create booklets to supplement your existing program.

Most companies spend money on advertising - and with trepidation they hope their ads get read or listened to.  A very innovative alternative to this is to sponsor a financial literacy program in your area.

We will print your company name/logo on the booklet cover for all to see. And we will even help you write a press release if you like. ( local news media love stories on businesses investing in the community)

Your advertising dollars are now not only promoting your business - they're helping your community. Everyone wins.

Learning about money is something every student needs. Unfortunately, it is not taught in many of our schools. Sponsoring a Money $tar$  Financial Education Program in your area is a great way to give back to the community. Helping kids learn basic money skills is an investment in your community's future. Learn Well Graphics will work with your company or civic organization to make your Program a huge success with local students ages 11-17.

You will receive specific topic booklets that you request. Your name can be listed on the booklets as a "Sponsor".  You can donate the materials to civic organizations that have direct contact with the kids who need the help the most. ( ie- The Boys and Girls Clubs; Big Brother and Big Sister; Junior Achievement; Community Centers; churches ; etc)
